Alberta.Network is a Canadian digital marketing and business consulting service for trades and home-service businesses that work across more than one Alberta city. It's part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies, headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, and led by Ali Sedighi, MBA. We plan local search, ads and written referral relationships market by market, and we tell owners plainly where the numbers don't add up.

Why this site exists

Alberta's trades businesses rarely stay inside one city limit. Calgary firms work Airdrie and Chestermere, Edmonton firms cross into Strathcona County and St. Albert every day, and regional firms in Red Deer, Lethbridge or Grande Prairie serve wide rural areas. Yet most marketing advice, and most ad accounts we review, treat a business as if it had one market.

The result is predictable. The most expensive city absorbs the budget, the smaller markets get thin copied pages, and calls from far away are either chased at a loss or turned away with nothing to offer. Alberta.Network exists to fix those three problems with a plan that splits the province into the markets you really serve. The services page shows how.

What we are, and what we aren't

We are a marketing and business consulting service. We are not a contractor: we don't install, repair or service anything, and we don't dispatch crews.

We are also not a directory or a lead marketplace. We don't keep a roster of member firms, we don't sell or share leads between clients, and we don't route jobs ourselves. When we help you build referral relationships, they're between your business and the firms you choose, on terms written down and disclosed to customers. The out-of-area referrals page explains how that works.

Ali Sedighi, MBA

Ali's MBA is in Technology Management, and his 17+ years in digital marketing go back to 2007, the year he set up ONE.ir, a full-service digital marketing agency. He now lives and works in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Since then he has started Conv.ca, an agency for conversion-rate optimisation, and MyAutomation.ca, and he serves as Founder and Managing Partner of SAZ.ca. His clients have been in Canada, the USA and Dubai, and the count of live HVAC websites he has built stands at 150+. His portfolio includes CombiBoiler.ca, GasBoilers.ca, Roma Heating & Cooling and albertaheating.ca, among others.

The group behind Alberta.Network

Ali's own consulting company, Sedighi.ca, covers growth, marketing and technology work for owners, and the brands under it include HVAC.Agency, HVAC.Digital, Trades.Agency, BusinessConsulting.ca and Conv.ca. Trades.Agency is the group's agency brand for trades, and its plans are the ones offered here.

The sister firm, SAZ.ca (Strategy & Acceleration Zone), was founded by Ali in Canada to take on strategy, AI and revenue acceleration engagements, with strategic leadership by Sedighi.ca. Together they form the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group.

How we work

Our working method is simple to describe and takes discipline to keep.

  1. Map first. We start with where your crews actually go, not where you'd like them to go. Every market gets a decision.
  2. Measure each market. Separate tracking per city, so every budget conversation is about real numbers. See tracking by city.
  3. Spend where it earns. Ad money follows the cities with the lowest cost per booked job, not the biggest population.
  4. Refer what you can't reach. Calls from beyond your range go to a partner you've chosen, under written, disclosed terms.
  5. Report plainly. A short monthly report per market, with what we'll change next.

We meet in person or by video call and work by phone, text and email. You'll talk to a senior strategist, and we usually reply within one business day. Our published results are from HVAC work, presented on the results page as results from our HVAC work. Plans are on the pricing page, and the first step is getting in touch.

Our positioning, plainly

In one line: Alberta.Network provides digital marketing and business consulting to Canadian trades and home-service firms, and it never does trade work itself, no installs, no repairs, no service calls. We help Alberta trades get found in the cities they serve, spend ad money where it earns and build referral relationships they can stand behind.

Frequently asked questions

Is Alberta.Network an Alberta company?

It's a Canadian brand of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group, headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, and it serves trades businesses across Alberta, with consultations in person or by video call as well as by phone, text and email.

Who will I actually deal with?

A senior strategist from the start. Ali Sedighi leads the work and the strategy; you won't be handed to a call centre or a junior account rep for the first conversation.

Why the name 'network'?

Because multi-city trades succeed through connections: listings in each city, pages that link the markets together, and written referral relationships with firms in places you don't serve. It's not a membership club, and we don't list member firms.

Are you a contractor?

No. We don't install, repair or service anything. We market and advise trades businesses, and we never compete with them for work.
