Plans

Pricing for trades marketing across Alberta

Plans start at $1,999 per month, or $1,499 per month billed annually, plus 5% GST. The right plan depends mostly on how many Alberta markets you serve and how much ad management they need.

The three plans

Each plan builds on the one before it. The summaries below are the approved descriptions; your proposal lists exactly what's included for your markets.

Plan Month to month Billed annually What it covers
Growth $1,999/month $1,499/month The core marketing work for a trades firm that's already established
Elite $3,999/month $2,999/month Marketing across more channels, and half price on Trades.Agency website design packages
Enterprise $7,999/month $5,999/month Its own marketing team, priority support, and any Trades.Agency website package designed and built free

On monthly billing you're free to leave with 30 days' notice. The lower figures in the middle column apply when you commit to a year.

What drives the cost for a multi-city business

The biggest factor isn't the size of your company. It's how many markets you need managed separately, and how much work each one takes.

  • Number of markets. Every city you serve regularly needs its own pages, tracking, review flow and, if you advertise there, its own campaign. Three markets is more work than one.
  • Ad complexity. One campaign in one city is simple. Separate budgets for Calgary, Airdrie and Chestermere, with weather-ready ad groups, takes more management.
  • Referral relationships. Setting up written arrangements in several cities takes research and drafting time at the start, then light monitoring.
  • Website state. If your site has no city pages, or thin copied ones, building them properly is a project in itself. That's where the Elite discount and the Enterprise website build matter.

Which plan fits your Alberta map

As a rough guide, and only as a starting point for the conversation:

  • Growth suits a business with a home city and one or two regular outlying markets, such as an Edmonton firm working St. Albert, or a Lethbridge firm covering Lethbridge County.
  • Elite suits a business in three to five markets that runs ads in several of them and needs a better website, such as a Calgary firm working Airdrie, Chestermere and the counties.
  • Enterprise suits larger firms with several crews or locations across regions, for instance one covering the Edmonton region and Central Alberta, that want a dedicated team.

We'd rather recommend a smaller plan that fits than a bigger one that doesn't. If your numbers don't support the spend yet, we'll say so.

A quick budget check

Before any plan, run this calculation. Take your average booked job value and gross margin, then work out how many extra jobs per month would cover the plan.

For example, a $1,999 plan with an average job of $900 at 40% margin needs about six extra jobs a month to cover itself ($1,999 ÷ $360). If you serve three cities, that's two extra jobs per city per month. If that looks unrealistic for your markets, a narrower start makes more sense, and the second-city maths guide shows how travel changes the sum.

What's always true

  • Prices are in Canadian dollars; Canadian clients add 5% GST.
  • Eligible trades businesses get a free 30-minute first consultation, separate from paid plans.
  • No long-term contract; 30 days' notice to cancel.
  • Anything not listed here, including how ad spend is billed, is set out in writing in your proposal.

We are a marketing service, not a contractor, so these prices cover marketing and consulting only. See services for what the work involves, results for what our HVAC work achieved, or contact us to talk through your markets.

Frequently asked questions

Is ad spend included in the plan price?

The plan price covers our work. How ad spend is paid and billed is set out in writing in your proposal before you agree to anything.

Is there a contract?

There's no long-term contract on monthly billing: 30 days' notice ends it. If you're happy to commit for a year, annual billing lowers the monthly rate.

Does serving more cities cost more?

Often, because each market needs its own pages, tracking and ad management. A two-city business may fit Growth; a five-city business with heavy ad spend usually needs Elite or Enterprise.

Is the first consultation really free?

Yes. For eligible trades firms, the opening 30-minute call costs nothing and sits outside any paid plan. You owe us nothing afterwards.
